As a person with Alpha- One Disease, it is a lung & liver condition. This disease causes many patients like myself to suffer from COPD, chronic pneumonia and bronchitis. There is no cure, many have lung transplants. I am a member of the board of directors for the nationally know: Alpha-1 Advocacy Alliance.
